Special Highlights:
MG Washer:
The weak point of aluminum or carbon rims, the nipple holes in the rim, is reinforced at NEWMEN with an MG-Washer. This is the solution that uses the least amount of material, so there is virtually no weight impact. The MG washer is concave on both sides. This means that it can be installed in both directions. In addition, the contact surface on the rim side moves away from the nipple hole of the rim and additionally relieves the rim. Another advantage is the uniform friction between nipple and washer, which prevents the " seizing" of the nipple.
Rim profile without edges and corners:
The rim profile without edges and corners has flared rim flanks with optimized horn height and wall thickness. The wall thickness has been increased at the rim flange and reduced at the sides.
The flared rim flanks shorten the distance between the left and right rim flanges, which saves material and thus weight. Since the tire can also take on a rounder shape, comfort and cornering grip are improved.
